My signature piece is my glasses. Get a good pair of specs and people will look over an otherwise average wardrobe. What’s nice about glasses is that they are one of the first things that people see and it’s what they focus on when you’re talking to them.
Funny this should come up. I’ve been looking at some more casual watches.I’ve been looking at the watches of my pre-teen years, Swatch, but the colorful G-Shock could fit the bill.
As for my own signature piece. I work as a creeative where a tie is required but I’ve added jackets with pocket squares. Just a hint of color poking up over my pocket—complimenting—not matching the rest of my gear.
It lets me be a little more creative with the normal, boring “business dress” and because I’m the only one around doing it, it always gets a good reaction.
My “signature” piece would have to be my shoes, I have a pair of Ferrari Puma Speedcats. Super red with white “puma stripes” and a Ferrari logo on the rear quarter. Yes I am a car guy.
Mine is a watch: Pimpin’ Aint Easy from Tokyo Flash. http://www.amazon.com/Tokyo-Flash-PIMP-Pimpin-aint/dp/B000VWFYBM/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=watches&qid=1211311258&sr=1-2
Mine is in silver with a steel band.
I’m only 19 so it suits me well because it is fun and eye-catching without being flashy or obnoxious. Its tongue-in-cheek name means it doesn’t take itself too seriously, and that is a definite plus in my book. Granted, it takes me quite a bit longer to tell time than on an ordinary watch, but I guess we all have to sacrifice something to look good.
Those are pretty slick looking; they kind of remind me of an NES cartridge. I wouldn’t mind having myself a watch like that.
...and to enter the contest, I’ll say that my signature piece is probably my shoes--if only because they’re the farthest thing away from my ridiculous goatee and therefore the only article with any chance of being noticed.
My signature piece is easily my sandals/flip flops. I own over 40 pairs - and have enough different color combinations to match whatever I’m wearing.
I find it funny when I meet a woman and she realizes I have more footwear than she does. :)
My Signature piece would have to be my hooded sweatshirts with the piece de resistance being this little number here.

Signature piece? My washed messenger bag. It’s stylish and useful - the way all accessories should be.
My signature piece isn’t an article of clothing at all. Mine is fragrance. It’s good to be known as the guy that smells good. I’ve found that it’s a good detail that can emphasize an otherwise good sense of style. I prefer to stay away from the more common (citruses like aqua di gio and it’s many copycats) so as to make whatever scent it is become my own.
Some favorites include, Tom Ford Black Orchid, Terre D’Hermes, Guerlain Vetiver, Prada Men, Burberry London, and Lolita Lempicka.
Also, that Casio is pretty sweet. It goes without saying that Shock-G (of digital underground fame—"And now for the G-Shock, Shock-G") should be the spokesperson—though I see why Kanye is a good choice too.
mine would be a black leather bracelet. i bought it over 4 years ago and it’s really starting to get a nice broken-in look. it’s really simple and looks good with just about everything.
my signature piece would have to be my shoes. I only wear Lacoste shoes and I am pretty known for it. I always have at least 7 pairs
My signature piece is definitely by large tie collection. No tie ever seems to go out of style or gets old and any of them can always be renewed by a new shirt and/or suit!
I would love this new Casio watch, though, and have been drooling over them since you guys posted about them a few days ago!
Please make my day!

My signature piece is my motorcycle jacket. I like riding to work, and the jacket is necessary protection. It also looks good and feels good walking into the office in something that contrasts most people’s suit coats or sports jackets. It puts me in a positive mindset at the beginning of the day. And, at the end of the day I’m not stuck in a suit when I go out and meet friends for a drink after work.
This is the jacket, in black:

Ohhh~ A contest!
These new Casio G-shocks are really retro-cool.
What’s my signature piece? Its an unique interlocking-black and white stripe straw fedora from H&M;. Its great to wear during the summer as its made from light-weight materials, but at the same time hella stylish because of its shape and pattern. The best part was that it was only 8 bucks! Talk about a bargain. I loooooove it~!
“Gee, Ish wears that rockin’ red and blue houndstooth desert scarf!” would be what my friends would say they know me for.
It is very unique, being a desert scarf and all, especially since I live in NYC and there are no deserts anywhere near. When people meet me, many haven’t ever seen one! I find the houndstooth pattern a little addicting to be honest, and very cool.
I wear it inside and outside, with/without a coat. Around school, the New York City Blocks and occasional trips to Jersey. It displays fashionable uniqueness in a very cool way and now its my “thing” and no one can’t take that from me.
Just to show it off a little: http://tinyurl.com/4ugsll
pink tie, always gets compliments…
My signature piece are my socks. These are definitely the items that I keep buying even when funds are low, and I’m absolutely convinced that even if the rest of what I’m wearing is rather plain my socks can turn the outfit around.
I would say my signature pieces are my polos. Can’t live without them.
My signature piece would have to be my shoes. I have a jet black pair of Pumas that are fantastic. I also have a few pairs for work that are business appropriate yet stand out from everyone elses.
Coincidentally my signature piece is my watches. I’m always wearing a watch whether I’m dressing it up in a blazer or down in jeans and a T. Usually only takes someone a few meetings before they go “You love watches hey?”. I feel like it’s a perfect way to finish off whatever I’m wearing, and shows off that I pay attention to the details.
Coincidentally my signature piece is my watches. They style I wear varies widely depending on my mood of the time, but a wicked watch on my wrist is constant. It usually takes someone meeting me 3-4 times before they say “You love watches!”.
Coincidentally I love watches! My style varies but no matter what I’m feeling I’ve always got an awesome timepiece on my wrist.
Usually takes someone meeting me 3-4 times before they notice, “You love watches”.
My signature piece was originally not mine. It was my father’s. It is a 1960’s black/gold Movado timepiece that he passed down to me when I graduated high school. This is truly my signature piece because I can wear it anywhere. Whether it is to a fancy dinner, or wearing it with my favorite pair of sneakers, it’s appropriate. My signature piece not only shows versatility, but shows how some things can truly never go out of style. Whether it was the nostalgic 60’s or the more individual times of today, my signature piece will always fit every occasion.
My signature piece (this season), is my limited edition light vinyl Uniqlo jacket. It goes perfect on those cold nights with a hoodie underneath. It goes great on warm spring days with a light tshirt underneath and sleeves rolled up. Then on those hot days, hold onto it for the night time to put on your lady when she catches a chill.
Classy, young and cool.
