Summer Fashion Trend: Patterns

Old-Navy-flip-flops

Think patterns aren't manly? Well, think of it this way -- making it manly is up to you, and you might as well give it a shot as patterns of all kinds (and we're not just talking your run of the mill plaids) are big for summer, in everything from shoes to shirts to shorts to bags. We like these Old Navy flip flops for $5, for example, because what's more masculine, really, than a skull . . . er, made of flowers. Seriously, keep an open mind.

More patterned pieces we like:

Men's Acton Cargo Shorts, $24.50, Old Navy

Patterned Stripe Shirt, $19.90, Heritage1981

Livity Fireball Fedora, $32, Urban Outfitters
