Style 101: Wearing White After Labor Day

It has always been said not to wear white after labor day but it seems many brands have designed white garments this winter. What’s the story?
Forget the old mantra, “no white after Labor Day.� Wearing white in the winter is becoming more of a fashion norm with each passing year. Unlike the summer months, when white perpetuates the preppy beach look, in the winter, white sets the tone. Pair white on black for a bleaker mood, or warm it up with rich earthy tones. Just keep in mind that when the snow is falling, the whiter the better.
