Spring 2008 Trend: Navy Blazers

Navy blazers are the epitome of Spring dressing, but we know what you’re thinking -- stuffy, buttoned-up, so not cool. We beg to differ. Forget the gold buttons and polyester -- the new navy blazer is less structured (we’ve told you about that), with cleaner lines and less fussy embellishments. We’ve suggested this one from Urban Outfitters, and we still like it, for $49.99, but we’re also kind of partial to this slightly more tailored version from Gap (pictured), on sale for $69.99. Either would look great paired with cotton pants of the chino, khaki, twill variety, or denim -- even colored denim, if you're bold enough to try it. Ah, go ahead -- it is Spring, after all.
