Charities and designers are teaming up to make your next fashion purchase work toward creating a social difference. With a host of trendy trends, styles and designs allotted to support just about any cause, we've managed to pick our five favorites for your consideration:

The blue, cotton tee designed by Coldplay was created under “Whatever it Takes,� a charity artwork project that collects original designs from leaders in several fields such as music, politics and film. Proceeds of the shirt will go to the Trade Plus Aid organization and is sold at Saks Fifth Avenue for $49.

The reversible World Food Programme "FEED bag" is modeled after grain bags used to deliver food to schools around the world. The burlap and cotton bag is 15 inch high, wide and deep for $59.95 at Amazon. Every bag sold will feed one child for a whole year in school.

Support breast cancer awareness with a hand finished blue silk tie available from Angela Moore, $55. Fifteen percent of the proceeds go to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Converse (Product) Red “Mend It Patch� high tops from Amazon, $41.45 to $49.99. Five percent of the net wholesale price of this shoe will be paid to The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
