The Casio G-Shock makes our pansy Movado cry.

This is one tough watch. According to the material this watch is suppose withstand shocks, depth of 200 feet of water, electricity, extreme vibration and pressure. Who in the world needs that much protection for their watch? Well, unless you spend your nights as The Batman, there is no way to test this without putting our life in peril. The G-Shock may very well be too much watch for us everyday folk.

We've been checking out this watch for superheroes over the past few days, besides the the rush of nostalgia, we found the watch to be light, sturdy, and rather unobtrusive despite it's relative bulk. With styling inspiration from Spike Lee and Graffiti Graphic Designer Eric Haze, there is some room for a bit ofindividuality, well as much as a mass market product can be.

At a quarter of the price of the Movado, it's a pretty good inexpensive buy as a nice sports watch. Please don't wear this to your wedding. It's not that type of watch, but maybe to the honeymoon...
