Fashion Trend: Slim Cut Suits
Spring runways were full of slim cut suits for Spring 08, and we think they’re a great way to emphasize a lean body line (assuming you have one) and look truly modern in a suit. Think fuss-free, clean cut jackets and slim-cut pants, like this look from Banana Republic, which is a good starting point though not exactly as budget as we’d like (jacket: $375, pant: $169), but still not unheard of for a suit.
A key to wearing it right? Make sure your tie is of the lean variety as well (though not necessarily skinny) in order to keep the look balanced, and pair it with some cool buckle loafers to add a little 60s mod vibe.
