Colin Firth in The Accidental Husband: Style Jack

September 12, 2008 01:00 PM

Get ready for another romantic comedy this fall: The Accidental Husband. Alright, so this may not be your favorite genre but at least take a note of Colin Firth’s character, Richard, who is the “accidental” – think comedic twist – fiance to a radio talk-show host (Uma Thurman). Richard keeps it classy, in the pictured scene to the left, with a three-piece suit with the added pocket square for extra color detail. Suits don’t have to break the bank, so check out this movie look with our affordable finds …

The suit pieces: (From Topman): Light gray wool blend slim single breasted two-button jacket with black satin contrast jet pockets, £80. Along with a matching five-button waistcoat with striped lining, £30 and bootcut trousers, £40.

The shirt: Geoffrey Beene blue crystal cotton dress shirt with point collar is on sale for $39.99 (originally $59.50) from Macy’s.

The pocket square: Murano lake blue silk pocket square from Dillards, $14.50.

The tie: Hickey Freeman gray, silver and black Persian paisley woven silk tie is on sale for $81 (originally $135) from Bluefly.
