For casual weekend-wear, Old Navy can't be beat -- it's a great source for up to date styling and the prices are always less than we'd expect to pay, and with sizes frequently up to XXXL. They also seem to be all about the patterns this fall (think argyle, plaid, stripes) which we kinda dig. Just please stay away from the logo stuff, unless you're under 21. This fall the fashion world is getting down to earth with the blue-collar look. According the trend reports on Men’s Style.com, the "American working man” has been hitting the runways. In particular, the plaid jacket has made a reoccurring appearance with its rugged and earthy style with appealing warmth for the inevitable crisp weather. "Mad Men", AMC's very cool drama about very cool folks working at a very cool ad agency in the 1960s, is only in its second season, but the effects on fashion are already being felt. This will be the second fall running for plaid as a fashion trend, and while you may not have warmed up to it last year we're suggesting you take another look. Seriously, it's a great way to add a little interest to those functional but essentially dull fall wardrobe elements. We're not suggesting full-on plaid pants (though, if you're so inclined, who are we to stop you) -- instead, pick up a casual plaid jacket. The best way to keep it modern?...
