I don’t think we (the shoppers of the world) should have to pay for a T-shirt with a store/company/brand’s name on it. Period. Why should I have to pay to essentially advertise and promote your brand? I’m not just talking about those annoying Old Navy logo t-shirt, but also shirts from places like the Hard Rock Cafe. I know labels can indicate status, but exactly what status does wearing an Old Navy shirt convey? I shop at the mall? The retailers should give them out for free, like the credit card companies did back in college.
So what do you think?

I don’t mind band shirts, or even shirts for products and companies that I want to support. I draw the line at store logos (like old navy mentioned above) and clothing brand logos. Go to Macy’s and check out their extensive line of DKNY Jeans branded t-shirts and hoodies. You know, in case you want to broadcast to the world “Hey look, I might also be wearing DKNY Jeans.”
I’m just surprised to see that old navy is now making clothing without an american flag stitched to the front.
