Turtlenecks for Guys: Yea or Nay?

There's something about a turtleneck that makes us uncomfortable -- both physically (they're a bit constricting) and aesthetically (are they to feminine? do they make us look like we're 8 years old?). This fall, we're seeing some cropping up, however, and we're not quite sure what to think. We're guessing you could wear them with dark denim and under a peacoat, and it might look alright, but we could use a second opinion -- are turtlenecks on guys a style Yea or Nay? Comment below!

I have to say, I’ve never been a fan of turtle-necks.  Only in very small circles are these cool, and I’m not in those circles.

I think they are okay under only one condition, you have hickeys and major ones at that, otherwise they are just uncalled for.
Maybe the sweater ones are okay, becuase you are killing two birds with one stone by warming your neck.
But just as a t-shirt, its just wrong
and the one you guys posted from American Apparel, is pretty horific as it is.

I’m going to have to say a definite yea for Turtlenecks.

While I know Cosby has a bad record with cold weather wear, he wore a mean turtle neck long ago.
