What: San Francisco bag company Timbuk2 and the online design community Threadless.com released three limited-edition messenger bags – check out illustrator Julia Sonmi Heglund’s design.
Why it’s worth the splurge: Heglund’s graphic has been seen on some of the web site’s most sold shirts, including the two other designs on the limited edition messengers. Only 200 classic messenger bags with her design are being sold for $130 each. Along with the unique design comes a sturdy product with extra stitching and waterproof liner, an internal organizer as well as a pad on the adjustable strap for added comfort.
