The Knit Cap: Yea or Nay?

The Upgrader suggests that the knit cap is one of the essential style elements this fall, and while we hadn’t yet pegged this as a major fall trend (though we might be a bit slow on the stick, as we are currently still holding on to our summer fedora, reluctant to let the season pass) they might be right. It is, after all, practical, cheap and easy to wear. Our concern? Some guys could look super fly in an orange knit hat, while others might just look like they wandered out of the woods on the first day of deer hunting season (a hint: that’s not high on our list of style-setting events). So, we’re putting this one out to you — are knit caps a fashion yea or nay? Comment below.

I think only about 1/10th of guys can pull this look off without looking like an elf or a swimmer.  I’ll have to go with nay.

YAY. This is a new trend comming up from the horizon. Especially the slouchy knit caps for men.
