Style Jack: Justin Timberlake

by Deal Jack on December 25, 2007

Justin Timberlake takes the urban flare of his music and incorporates it into his style, ranging from dancing on stage in a suit to staying low-key from the paparazzi in a track jacket. He takes classic men’s fashion and gives it an urban chic twist to create a tailored yet comfortable look. He takes his fashion seriously enough to be in the business—Timberlake’s William Rast line embodies his style characteristics, but at a fairly high price, with most of the pieces in the William Rast collection averaging over $200. Fortunately, Timberlake’s tailored urban style can be achieved for much less.

Get it:

The vest: Fink Ginsberg four-button, satin-back vest, from Urban Outfitters, $49. For an even cheaper and more casual option, BDG tee cotton jersey vest cardigan, from Urban Outfitters, $24.

The fitted button down: Tan cotton dress shirt, from Men’s Wearhouse, $32.99.

The skinny tie: Plain red skinny tie, from Topman, $20.

The dark denim wash jeans: Levi’s 527 low-rise bootcut jeans in a jade wash, from Macy’s, $29.99.

The basic black belt: Mossimo leather belt, from Target, $19.99.

The sneaker: Cotton canvas with speakerbox print, from Topman, $40.

Note: Timberlake is known to wear sneakers with suits. It’s a tricky style to pull off – stick with the dress shoes and keep the sneakers with outfits like this.
