Spring Fashion Trend: The Ascot
The ascot. It's not just Fred from Scooby Doo -- this look has been picked up lately by the Jonas Brothers, American Idol's Michael Johns, that guy from Gossip Girl. Okay, we're not sure that we'd want them to be our style role models either, but the trend is picking up steam nontheless. Clearly, it's not a look for the office, church, or Sunday dinner at your mom's house (depending on your mom), but if you want to bump up your evening out look, tie one on -- wear it with an open-necked, button down shirt, unstructured or shrunken blazer, and straight-leg jeans. Not bad, actually.
