Okay, not a trend as much as a seasonal effect. Meaning things are warming up and the top coat, pea coat, arctic-grade parka are being relinquished to the back of the closet. But it’s not exactly tropical for most of us yet, so it’s time for transitional dressing and, thus, a short, light-weight jacket. Think versatility, and pick up one that can take you at least from weekend, to dinner after work, and possibly Casual Friday at the office. Spending a fortune? Never in style, so check out this this Standard Golf Jacket, Urban Outfitters, $59, or, for a slightly more casual take, this Joshua Cotton Jacket, $34.90, at Heritage 1981.
It’s definitely getting into the short jacket season. One other that I’d recommend is by Wrath Arcane. My store pretty much sold out of the short jackets right away, but I’m sure you can find them at better boutiques in any major city.
