Perforated clothes, particularly jackets and shoes have been spotted among spring and summer lines. The UK’s Guardian recently checked out the trend and we decided to see what was out there ourselves. We were drawn to perforated shoes because of the slight retro vibe they give off whether it be with trousers or jeans. Here we’re going beyond a simple wing tip design and modernizing our shoes with full-out perforated shoes:
Three eyelet black lace-up with full perforated detail on the toe, padded insole and tonal lining from Burton, £25.
Also from Burton, white leather boat shoes with perforated toe, £45.
Taupe leather lace-up with perforated upper and pigskin lining on sale for £45 (originally £64.99) from Office.
Sperry Top-Sider taupe perforated suede slip-on with side elastics and removable insole from Nordstrom, $64.95.
John Fluevog black perforated leather lace-up bicycle toe from Amazon, $71.68 (originally $238.95).
