What: Michael Kors Runway Show, New York City Fashion Week Spring 09
The Lowdown: If you're a guy that's afraid of color, then this Michael Kors collection is not for you. But we would like to take this opportunity to suggest that you reconsider, because fashion really should be more than black and denim. Seriously. And what we like about this Michael Kors show is that it's so un-serious, bringing primary color, unexpected patterns, and a little 50s/60s vibe to casual menswear. We're talking cobalt blue jackets, red and white checks, yellow pants. But never fear, this Spring, surprisingly, there's still plenty of black to go around -- just be sure to use it as a counterpoint for something as interesting as what Kors is bringing.
Budget Solution: Clearly it's all about the color -- and even if you're a little more conservative, a primary colored polo will fit the trend -- but we'd suggest wearing it with some slim white or black pants, and some white canvas sneakers.
