From Old to New: Repurposing Used Tees

hidearms1What: We all have them. Old t-shirts that sit in the back of the dresser drawer and haven’t been worn in ages. Now the blog Hide Your Arms has something new to try. The site has compiled a list of 100 ways to repurpose your old t-shirts, from making them into belts and gloves, to turning them into gifts for your female friends and pets.

What Hide Your Arms Says:
“T-shirts have a lifespan, they don’t last forever, they stretch, they fade, they get stained, and sometimes the tees stay the same but the owner changes size, or just changes their taste. This got me thinking, ‘what do you do with a tee when you don’t want to wear it anymore?’”

What We Say: Craft projects aren’t just for girls anymore. Not only is turning old t-shirts into new clothes is a great way to save money, but it’s also a way to ensure you’ll be the only one wearing the outfit you created. Plus, Hide Your Arms’ tutorials make the process of turning tees into something else super easy. So easy, in fact, that even we can do it! (And that’s saying something.)
