Fashion Trend: The Driving Cap

GQ says they’re cool, so who are we to argue. Yeah, we know -- our grandpas had ‘em too. They were plaid, or tweed, and matched that driving jacket or whatever it was that he’d wear over his Arnold Palmer polo shirt. But we digress. The driving cap -- if you like it, go ahead and wear it, but remember today’s version is a much more casual take: wear it with denim or chinos, sneakers or loafers, an updated polo (no golf logos in sight, natch) or tee, and maybe an unstructured jacket. Our picks? This Traditional Ivy Plaid Hat, $14.99, Target, or this 6-Panel Driver, $24, Urban Outfitters
