Canal Street Hipster Wallet, $25.00 by Jack Spade

by The Budget Fashionista on July 26, 2007

Canal Street Hipster Wallet, $25.00 by Jack Spade

Okay, try this.

Walk over to your nearest female colleague and tell her that an old college buddy works for Nordstroms and “gave” you a brand new Kate Spade leather handbag as payment for something you did for him.  Tell your co-worker that, since you don’t carry handbags, you wanted to know if she “wanted” the bag.  For free.

Watch her eyes light up and her pulse quicken with the thought of scoring the designer handbag.

We feel the same about Jack Spade, the “male accessories/clothing/etc” line by the folk behind Kate Spade. While the line isn’t cheap, it’s pretty much one of the only male accessory lines to actually have accessories like wallets in colors other than black and brown. We’re big fans of the Canal Street Hipster Wallet, ($25 at jackspade.com) made from those plaid plastic bags you find at your local laundromat.

Disclaimer: We’re not responsible for any violence that may result from not supplying the handbag to your colleague.
